Some cool links:

The University of Texas has an online catalogue of historical portraits.  The site includes Louis XVI , Marie Antoinette, Mirabeau, Necker, Napoleon Bonaparte, and Voltaire.

The people of France were inspired by the American Revolution.  Here's a link to an essay that compares the two revolutions.  This is a bit tough to read and understand, but it's very interesting.

The French Revolution This tells the same story I told in the Electronic Passport.  Compare the two versions.

The Napoleon Series
Historians love Napoleon.  There's even an online magazine about him.  Personally, I think most students feel TV Guide is a more relevant reference source, but if you want to learn about Napoleon (and there aren't any movies coming up on the History Channel), you might want to go here.

Charles Dickens' views on the French Revolution This is interesting to read but not that informative.

The Guillotine Headquarters
The Guillotine.  Eveerything you ever wanted to know about the "national razor of France."  I found the site rather gruesome, but they had a great deal of information.
